How do you measure the distance of an earthquake using the p nd s wave differences?

The velocity of the transverse waves produced by an earthquake is 4.09 km/s, while that of the longitudinal waves is 7.1166 km/s. A seis- mograph records the arrival of the transverse waves 55.6 s after that of the longitudinal waves. How far away was the earthquake?
